About Me

IMG_7614.JPG

I am an occupational therapist, yoga teacher, sister, daughter, wife, friend, and fur mama.

I have been working with children of all abilities for 7 years in various settings. While pursing my master’s degree in occupational therapy at Stony Brook University, I managed and taught gymnastics to children ages 1-13 in an open, creative, and child directed environment. I graduated and completed my boards exam in June 2015 and decided to actualize my aspirations of living life to the fullest in beautiful San Diego. I have worked within the public school system and currently works at a local therapy clinic helping children discover their best selves.

I have experience building therapeutic relationships and helping children reach their full potential with diagnoses such as Autism, Sensory Processing Disorders, Feeding Difficulties, ADHD, Anxiety Disorder, ODD, Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, Specific Learning Disabilities, Gender Dysphoria, Developmental Delays, Developmental Coordination Disorder, Cerebral Palsy, William’s Syndrome, Fetal Alcohol Syndrome, Microcephaly, Down Syndrome, Agenesis of the Corpus Callosum, Klinefelter’s Syndrome, Joubert Syndrome, Trisomy 9 Mosaic, and Amblyopia.

My passion for yoga and mindfulness has always been intertwined into my work and I never realized how truly her treatment approach aligned with the holistic view of yoga.. until now. I am eager to share these skills through interactive games, songs, play, and exploration of fun child centered Asanas (simply said – body positions) to support your child while challenging them to find their true potential.

I look forward to meeting and growing with you and your family!
